insurance, if they have an attorney? My son was in a car accident a few months ago. He is seeing a chiropractor who is getting paid from "Med Pay" through the insurance company of the car he was riding in( he was a passenger). However, the other insurance company of the car who hit them has accepted liability and after my son is all done with medical treatments will then make an offer. The problem is, the chiropractor is referring him out to a orthopedist. I consulted with an attorney who told me that doctors will not accept a lein for payment unless there is an attorney representing the injured party.
